The Greeks call it 'origini', and it is the dried flowering stems of the wild Mediterranean herb Origanum vulgaris sub-species hirtum (Origanum heracleoticum)  .

Much stronger than 'Mediterranean oregano', and stronger even than 'Mexican' (which is not true oreganum at all! ).
